This is a timeline of events that occurred during the 2000s.

2004[]

November[]

10th[]

Fourteen year old Peter Parker would go to a scientific exhibition on radioactivity at General Techtronics Laboratories East on his own, since none of his fellow students were interested in going with him.
During the experiment that day, a lone spider lowered into the path of radioactive energy that was being transmitted by the particle accelerator being demonstrated.
This "radioactive spider" ended up on Peter's hand and bit him. Peter quickly realized that the spider had been radiated, and quickly excused himself from the room when he began to feel ill as a result of the bite.
Shortly before dying the spider end up also biting Cindy Moon on her neck.
As Peter rushed outside, he was also witnessed by Flash and Liz Allan, who both had a laugh at his condition.
Peter was also confronted by two bullies from his school; Peter was surprised when he was able to take a punch. When Peter tried to hit back, the bully dodged the blow, and Peter struck a lamp post, causing it to fall over, much to his surprise.
Walking out into traffic, Peter was almost run down by a car, but he managed to make a leap across the street and was further surprised when he was able to cling to the wall as well. Following those events Peter discovered that the spider's bite had granted him with the proportionate strength, speed and agility of a spider.

11th[]

The next morning, Peter discover that he no longer near-sighted and his body has been metamorphosed into a muscular build.
Having been marginalized by his peers for years, Peter decided to use his newfound powers for personal gain and the hope of achieving fame and fortune.
After hearing of a cash prize for anyone who could last for three minutes in the ring with wrestler Crusher Hogan Peter began to putt on some ragged clothing and a stocking around his head to disguise himself, as a way to compete and win the money.
As anonimus Peter went into the ring as "Masked Marvel" managing to enters the match to fight against Crusher Hogan and easily defeats him, managing to win the money.
At the same time tv producer Maxwell Shiffman witness those events, ending up offered to Peter to be his agent as he work with him to leap him to TV.
After watching his aunt and uncle having troubles to pay the bills Peter would decided to accept the producer's offer.
Cindy Moon would discover she develop spider like powers and abilities which she hides from her family.

12th[]

In order to sensationalize himself, Peter began to used the money he won in order to created a silk like material in order to swing from any building.
Cindy is greet by Ezekiel Sims who convinced her to enter in a bunker which she make him promise to look after his family with he did.
Cindy enters in the bunker where she stays for almost 11 years.
Ezekiel Sims leaves her family alone without elling the truth with the Moons thinking she was missing with layers to find her are appearing all over the place.

13th[]

Spider-Man debuts to the public becoming a tv sensation.

14th[]

In one his shows, Peter had saved a man falling from a window who was trying to catch a glimpse of him swinging by, performing his first (albeit unplanned) heroic act as Spider-Man.

15th-30th[]

Thanks to his powers Spider-Man managed to become a television sensation pretty quickly, appearing on television, marqueting and he was making a sizable amounts of money. Becoming well regarded over the course of the months.
Spider-Man performance as a celebrity began to also generated a positive review from the Daily Bugle editor-in-chief J. Jonah Jameson.
Spider-Man acts as a celebrity managed to gained him a legion of fans and people that admired him, including Flash Thompson, Liz Allan and most of his classmates of Midtown.

December[]

1st-30th[]

Spider-Man is forced to do a series of commercial for a cereal. Despite hating that premised he accepts but with the condition on not speaking at all.
Spider-Man gets invited as many talk shows, where his fame increases. During one of these shows Spider-Man meet Connan O'Brien explaining lived how he developed his web shooters.

On his 15 year old birthday, Peter is given a new set of chemistry and a Stereo Microscope.

12th[]

Peter's grades began to decline and his fame began to have a troll on his personality.

13th[]

Spider-Man get in an argument with Shiffman treated him to fired him if he kept insisting of revealing who he is.

15th-17th[]

Peter mocked Flash resulting on a school fight letting with Flash being severely damaged.
Returning home Peter get into a discussion with Ben and May secretly leaving to one of his shows.
Spider-Man talk with a director about the possibilities of having a movie.

18th-20th[]

During one of his showns Spider-Man meet hardcore fan Clayton Cole.

21st-30th[]

Uncle Ben drops Peter off to the library, where Peter will be secretly going to one of his shows, before Peter left the car Ben tells him "with great power there must also comes great responsibility", Peter would go out of the car as he ignored the words of Ben not before insutling him.
Sometime later Spider-Man have a new show becoming quickly a hit.
Eventually Spider-Man was interview by a news reporter which eh flirt with not before Greeting his fans.
After those events, Spider-Man would see robber robbing the place but he let him go deciding it wasn't his problem.
The same robber killed Ben/
Peter returns home to find Aunt May crying as a police officer revealed to him his uncle was killed.
Spider-Man began to hunt for the killer finding him in an abadoned wearhouse deciding to almost killed him until he discovered he was the same thief he let go.

A sad Peter returns home to comfort May over the loss of Uncle Ben.

September[]

1st[]

Now wanting anything to do with Spider-Man, Peter quits from his job as celebrity.

2st-5th[]

Peter used the money he had left from his shows to pay Ben's funeral.

6th[]

Peter witness Ben funeral becoming really sad and almost never going out of his room.

7th[]

May would talk with Peter in his room after noticing the effect Ben's dead have on him managing to reminded him about Uncle Ben's perchance for jokes, and that one should always have fun in life as well as everything he ever had believe.
Following these speech, Peter would think about the word his Uncle Ben tell him moments before he died "With Great Power There Must Also Comes Great Responsibility", Inspired by that words, Peter decides to use his powers to help people and fight crime in New York City as way to make up for the mistake he did promising to never be so reckless again.
Donning his spider themed outfit, as well his web-shooters and web-fluid. He decided to become the vigilante/superhero, the amazing Spider-Man.

8th[]

Peter Parker returns to school following his summer holidays, beginning his sophomore year.
In school, Peter returned to his quite reserved self in order to avoid suspicions about his alter ego.
Liz Allan greet Peter and gives him his condolences due to Ben's dead which was in the local news during the past few days despite the disaproval of her classmates.
At night Spider-Man began to patrol the city.

9th-18th[]

As he began to save the city as the world's new superhero his life as a celebrity began to fade away as the Daily Bugle began to make a smear campaign against him.
As a vigilante Spider-Man end up for the past weeks saving people from petty crimes and accidents.

Scott Summers begins to attend Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters after his powers accidentally manifest during a confrontation with a high school bully.

The X-Men are officially formed with Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Angel and Iceman with Xavier himself acting as the leader.
In order to protect the integrity of the Mutants Charles would kept the X-Men as a secret until his revealed 3 years later.
