In San Francisco, "Shaun" wakes up in his own apartment and turns his alarm off, sighing at his phone. He looks at his nightstand and sees a postcard which he believes to have been sent to him by his sister. He places it back and begins getting ready for his day, doing push-ups before getting dressed for work.[3]
A man driving an expensive BMW pulls up to the Fairmont San Francisco, throwing his keys to "Shaun" and ignoring his greeting. Jessalyn Chen stares in awe at the car, saying that she will drive it as she takes the key out of "Shaun's" hand and rushes toward the car. While "Shaun" tries to stop her, Chen rushes into the car and locks the door. "Shaun" asks Jessa to open the door, but she revs the engine despite "Shaun's" pleas. Jessa promises to drive slow.[3]
Jessalyn Chen speeds down the road in the BMW, causing "Shaun" to panic as he calls out for her to watch for an oncoming car. Jessa avoids the car and spins around, driving back down the road.[3]
Wenwu Xu sends a group of his soldiers, including William Young and Shan-Hao Xi, within the Ten Rings to retrieve his son's pendant. Wenwu also warns his soldiers that they will not be able to kill his son if they try.[3]
Later that night, Jessalyn Chen and "Shaun" meet up and have dinner with their friends, Delilah Wang and John. "Shaun" tells Soo and John about how he and Jessalyn met in high school and went on a joyride in a stolen car with Soo. John asks how he had never heard the story, and Chen says that Soo used to be wild before she became a lawyer. Soo mentions how she feels that Shaun and Jessalyn are overqualified for their jobs and are not living up to their potential. Jessalyn and "Shaun" are taken aback, and Jessalyn compares Soo's words to those of her mother. Jessalyn continues to make fun of Soo, comparing her clothes to those of her mother as well.[3]
"Shaun" and Jessalyn walk home, bothered by Soo's words and discussing how valet driving is difficult. "Shaun" suggests that they should be responsible and go to bed given it's approaching midnight local time, but Jessalyn suggests they instead go sing karaoke.[3]
"Shaun" and Chen fall asleep on the couch of the bar.
The next morning, "Shaun" walks down the street and visits Chen's apartment building before work.[3]
"Shaun" knocks on the door, and Mrs. Chen answers, inviting Shaun in and yelling for Katy Chen. Mrs. Chen tells Ruihua Chen to help his father, but Ruihua insists that he cannot work before eating. "Shaun" offers to help, but Mrs. Chen insists that Ruihua do the job. "Shaun" sits down next to Waipo Chen, but Waipo Chen tells him that the seat is reserved for her deceased husband. "Shaun" apologizes and moves, and Waipo Chen says that he is getting his favorite things for the upcoming event, Day of the Dead. "Shaun" asks if such items can be taken to the afterlife, and Waipo Chen says that they can, suggesting that a bottle of whiskey was taken in 2020.[3]
"Shaun" laughs, and Waipo Chen suggests that he thinks the tradition is silly. Katy says that they do not, but that her grandfather would have wanted Waipo Chen to move on. Mrs. Chen says that moving on is an American idea, and Katy reminds her that she is American. Mrs. Chen asks "Shaun" if Katy has applied for any new jobs, but Shaun says that they like their job. Mrs. Chen expresses disapproval as Katy gets up, saying that they will miss their bus. Ruihua says that he thinks Katy's job is cool, and Katy thanks her. "Shaun" says goodbye to Waipo Chen, who asks when he will marry Katy. "Shaun" says that they are just friends, and Waipo Chen dismisses him.
"Shaun" and Katy Chen get on the bus. During the drive, Chen notices Yuchen writing a research paper, and remarks how that's the type of woman her mother wishes she was. Yuchen hears, and "Shaun" apologizes for her.
Gao Lei approaches "Shaun" on the bus, demanding that "Shaun" give him his pendant, Shaun declines, confused by the situation. Gao then reaches for the pendant, but "Shaun" pushes him off and is grabbed by two other men. "Shaun" says he does not want trouble, and Gao again asks for the pendant. Chen insists that he has the wrong person, so Gao pushes Chen down, angering "Shaun." "Shaun" punches Gao, sending him backwards, surprising Chen as he asks whether she is okay.
The remaining men pull "Shaun" back, and he begins fighting them. Klev begins livestreaming and commentating over Shaun's fight. "Shaun" manages to knock out the three men, hitting one with a pole before landing in a seat. Two get up, but he knocks them back down. Jessa, shocked, asks who "Shaun" really is. William Young stands up from the back of the bus, approaching "Shaun." Klev tells "Shaun" that he can win, but when William reveals his prosthetic blade, Klev changes his mind.
Razor Fist takes a swing at "Shaun," who dodges it, causing Razor Fist to cut the brakes on the bus. The bus driver attempts to stop the bus to no avail.
The bus speeds through the streets as "Shaun" avoids Razor Fist's attacks, landing in front of Yuchen. He takes her computer and uses it to block an attack, hitting him with the two halves. "Shaun" apologizes as he returns her computer. Chen asks what is happening, and "Shaun" asks if she wants to talk about it in that moment.
The driver looks behind him to see what is happening, and is knocked out by the bus hitting another car. Klev reports on the update to his livestream, saying that he cannot handle the situation.
"Shaun" makes his way to the driver's seat and takes hold of the wheel, swerving the bus to the right and stopping it from nearly crashing. Razor Fist then slices the seat and wheel, forcing Shaun into a corner. Chen uses the opportunity to hit Razor Fist over the head with a fire extinguisher, saving her friend. Chen then takes the wheel, while "Shaun" continues to fight Razor Fist, causing all of the passengers to rush to the back. Razor Fist slices the pivoting joint on the bus before Chen then makes a sharp turn, nearly separating the two sections. Razor Fist approaches "Shaun," who jumps outside of the bus and clings to the side of it. Razor Fist then breaks a window from the inside, forcing "Shaun" to fall and grab onto the window ledge. "Shaun" grabs onto Razor Fist's arm as Chen makes another sharp turn, helping "Shaun" to gain balance as Razor Fist is thrown backward.
"Shaun" ends up on top of the bus, so he runs to the front and attempts to swing in, hitting the door and scaring Chen. "Shaun" knocks on the door, so Chen opens it for him. "Shaun" tells Chen to take a hard right on his signal and returns to the fight. "Shaun" prepares to fight, and pushes Gao out of the bus. "Shaun" forces Razor Fist's other companions out of the bus as well, and forces Razor Fist onto the back of the bus. As "Shaun" restrains Razor Fist, he tells all the passengers to get to the front.
Razor Fist breaks free and fights "Shaun," backing him against a window, saying that he and his sister deserve what is coming to them. "Shaun" pulls the switch to request the bus stop, which Chen recognizes as the signal. Chen makes a hard right turn while "Shaun" kicks off of Razor Fist, separating the two halves of the bus as "Shaun" lands in the front half, leaving Razor Fist behind.
Chen works to stop the bus
Chen notices the bus approaching a truck, and shouts for everyone to hold on. Chen pulls up next to the truck and drives over a car, causing a woman to nearly fall out of the broken window, but "Shaun" grabs her and pulls her back into the bus. Chen screams as the friction from the other truck stops the bus, and Chen apologizes to the truck driver, saying that they make a good team. "Shaun" looks around, noticing that his pendant is missing.
Razor Fist exits the destroyed back half of the bus as a car pulls up next to him to retrieve him. Razor Fist looks down at "Shaun's" pendant, which he had managed to steal during their fight.
Chen demands to know the truth
"Shaun" and Chen frantically return to "Shaun's" apartment as Chen asks where he is going. While packing hurriedly, "Shaun" says he is going to Macau, since they are going after his sister, confusing Chen. Shaun says he will explain when he gets back, but Chen stops him from packing and demands answers about his past.
"Shaun" shows Chen the postcard he believes was sent by his sister, and says that he believes the address to be where she is. "Shaun" tells Chen that the men he fought were sent by his father, and that he needs to make sure his sister is okay. Chen says he can explain the rest on the plane, insisting on going with him despite "Shaun's" protests.
Jennifer Walters gets a voicemail from Bruce Banner, offering to talk without gloating. Walters rolls over in bed, upset at having been fired.[7]

Jennifer Walters calls Daniel Goodman and tells him that she is accepting his offer and taking Emil Blonsky's case. Walters says that she already has a winning strategy, but her boss tells her to look at the news before hanging up. She turns on the television and finds KDAJ reporting on Blonsky having escaped from prison and participated in an underground fight club. Upon seeing this, Jennifer gets upset at the revelation.[7]
Jennifer Walters practices her closing speech about the uses of people's power for Elaine Schoenfeld and Chas Kilpatrick In it, she argues that the defendant believed their power shielded them from consequences. Elaine excitedly tells her she thinks she will win the case. Chas claims it would be better if he delivered the closing argument. Elaine scolds Chas, and Jennifer kicks him out of her office. As he leaves, he scolds Jennifer for choosing Elaine's advice over him.
After Chas leaves, Elaine compliments her speech and says that she needs to use her savage look, which Jennifer claims not to have while doing it. Elaine tells Jennifer that she will be a district attorney one day, but Jennifer wants to focus on the current case. Elaine says she could use her Hulk form if things go wrong, but Jennifer says she will not.
As Elaine leaves, Walters turns to the audience and confirms that she is a hulk. However, she is aware that the audience will not be able to focus on the show without context, so she tells the story of how she became a hulk. When she finishes, she insists that she will never have to be a Hulk and leaves to go to court.
A lawyer from the Fourth Wall Enterprises delivers his closing argument, saying that their client was protecting his business interest and that whether he knew lives were in danger depends on the definition of knowing. Chas tells Jennifer not to mess up, prompting an eye roll from Elaine.
Attack on the Los Angeles Metropolitan Courthouse:
When Jennifer Walters prepares to give her closing argument, Sharon Ventura suddenly bursts through the wall, causing a commotion. Elaine tells Jennifer to transform, so she takes off her shoes and does so. Sharon asks who she is, so Jennifer says her full name.
Sharon throws a table at the jury, but Jennifer catches it and throws it back at her. Sharon goes to kick Jennifer, who punches Sharon, causing her to hit the wall. As officers go to arrest her, Elaine places Jennifer's shoes on the floor. Jennifer puts them back on as she reverts to human form and says that she is ready to give her closing argument. She delivers the argument to a shocked courtroom.
Daniel Goodman is impressed at Jennifer Walters' ability to beat them in court.
The Fourth Wall Enterprises has the case declared a mistrial, arguing that the jury was likely to side with Jennifer since she saved their lives.
Sketches from the courtroom are released which depict the fight between Jennifer Walters and Sharon Ventura. Jennifer is identified in the pictures.
Sharon Ventura's lawyer insists that the incident was a misunderstanding, claiming it to be the result of low blood sugar.
KPVK reports on the fight, revealing sketches and says that Sharon Ventura caused panic.
News stations report on the attack
A news station reports that in the aftermath of the fight, a new superhero seems to be responsible for stopping it. The reporter says that Jennifer Walters was identified as the new hero.
KZYO reports that the jury are calling Jennifer Walters a hero. The report goes to a witness, who describes a woman turning into a Hulk. The interviewer coins the term "She-Hulk", which the witness agrees with.
Walter and Ramos stand outside Legal Ease Bar & Grill, hearing the crowd chanting for She-Hulk. Walters refuses the title, but Ramos encourages her to give the crowd what they want. She enters the bar as She-Hulk and drinks. Walters complains about the name and walks away to get a drink.
Bukowski approaches Walters and suggests she simply did it to gain publicity. Bukowski asks how she got the superpowers, but Walters refuses to talk about it. This leads Bukowski to conclude that it was nepotism as Ramos returns and tells him to leave. Bukowski states his intention to talk to an attractive girl before walking away.
Ramos places down two drinks, saying that she got them for free because Walters is a superhero, which Walters denies. Ramos suggests that she could be an Avenger, but Walters says she does not want to since the Avengers do not get benefits. District Attorney Boss approaches Walters and asks to talk to her in her human form. Walters transforms and falls over, drunk. Boss explains that the case was declared a mistrial since she saved the jury's lives. He says that while she acted heroically, it ruined their case and that he needs to fire her.
Marc stands outside his childhood home, drinking and struggling with whether he should attend his mother's shiva call. Elias Spector sees him through the window and motions for him to enter, but Marc walks away, unable to do it. He falls to the ground in tears and beats on his kippah.
Realizing what he had done to the kippah, Marc apologizes and hugs it. Unable to handle his emotions, Spector allows Steven Grant to front. Steven gets confused about where he is and calls his mother, saying that he is lost again. He walks away trying to figure out where he is.
Zayna calls Marc and receives no answer. She gets worried that something happened to him and begins calling and texting repeatedly.

With his shoes next to him, religious zealot Carson Knowles places a cloth on a table and flattens it out. He puts a glass of water on top of the cloth and wets the rim. He drinks from the cup and folds it into the cloth, before breaking the glass with his staff. He pours the broken glass into his shoes and puts them on. He walks away from the table.
Steven receives a postcard and believes it to be from his mother.

In London, Steven Grant wakes up and looks at his surroundings. He checks the restraint on his leg before taking it off and inspecting the sand placed around his bed to see if he had sleepwalked. Steven walks to his door and checks the tape on his door before throwing it out.
Alison Myers films a video with the "Questions I'm Asked" trend, but Mister Jameson refuses to license the music typically used with the trend. She dances as she answers the first question, saying that she is an intern for the Daily Bugle. She answers the second question, saying that they went to high school together. She then explains that Jameson was too cheap to buy the music. The final question is whether Alison was simply hired because of her connection to Peter Parker, to which Alison shrugs and says maybe while laughing. She adds the text and posts the video to the official TikTokaccount for The Daily Bugle with the caption, "I was definitely hired for my journalist skills and no other reason, right??"

While the United States of America focuses on its Election Day, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom demands compensation from the United States for the damage caused during the battle of London.
Thor makes pancakes for his adoptive daughter, Love, who reads The Foster Theory: Space and Time Travel and asks Thor what the breakfast is. Thor tells her they are "panflaps," but she claims to have never eaten them. Thor says she loves them and to eat up. Thor asks Love to get her boots, but she says she is wearing them, revealing her slippers. Thor says she will not wear those, sparking disagreements. Love then tells him to go to hell and shoots purple beams out of her eyes. Thor deflects it with a pan. Thor scolds Love for destroying their new pan, telling Love to wear whatever she wants, making love agree to wear the boots.
Love and Thunder jump into battle
In the mudroom, Thor tells Love to protect the defenseless and have fun before asking where Mjølnir is. He unwraps Mjølnir's bed to find that Love drew on it. He tells her it is creative before opening the door to their ship. They look out onto a battlefield. Love remarks at how some of the aliens look nice. Thor agrees and says they need to protect the nice ones. They say they love each other before Thor summons Stormbreaker and gives it to Love. The two warriors then run out. They jump at the army and swing.
At the New York Sanctum, Stephen Strange loosens a screw on the back of his watch. He takes the shattered glass face off of the watch and replaces it. After putting his newly fixed watch into a box and closing the lid, he heads out the door, enjoying a walk, but as he is about to cross the street, he feels a pain on his forehead and falls to the ground. Stephen screams in pain as a third eye opens on his forehead.
Stephen Strange goes on a walk in New York City. His walk is interrupted when Clea appears, calling his name. Strange turns around, asking if he can help her. Clea summons a magic dagger, telling Strange that he caused an Incursion, and that they have to stop it. Clea cuts open a portal to the Dark Dimension, suggesting that he is afraid. Strange magically turns his clothes into his sorcerer suit as he opens his third eye, saying that he is not afraid before joining Clea.

J. Jonah Jameson reports that, despite weeks passing since the fight at the Statue of Liberty, people continue to refer to Spider-Man as a hero. Jameson insists that concealing his identity makes Spider-Man a coward rather than a hero. He promises to uncover Spider-Man's intentions.
At Knowhere, Kraglin Obfonteri checks the Multi-Calendar and discovers that Earth is approaching Christmas time.

Obfonteri tells Nebula, Drax the Destroyer, and Mantis about when Yondu Udonta scolded him and Peter Quill for celebrating Christmas, explaining that it is almost Christmas. Nebula says that they do not have time for Christmas since they need to focus on cleaning up Knowhere. Obfonteri agrees and the two walk away as Mantis tells Drax how sad the story made her. She looks to Quill while he works.
Rocket Raccoon scolds Cosmo for not being able to aim despite her telekinesis. Cosmo drops the materials and refuses to work while Rocket insults her. Rocket tells her to relax and hesitantly gives her treats while Quill watches. Rocket tells Cosmo to get back to work.
Quill is stopped by Bzermikitokolok asking for him to fact check his band's song about Christmas. Quill agrees, and Bzermikitokolok sings the introduction. Quill approves of the lyrics, but bandmates Kortolbookalia, Sliyavastojoo, and Phloko join for the remainder of the song, which horrifies Quill with its inaccuracies regarding Santa Claus. A crowd gathers and reacts negatively to the song while Groot dances. As the song ends, Quill walks away as Bzermikitolok thinks he and the crowd loved the song.
Mantis says that she wants to help Quill feel better about Christmas since she is Quill's sister and is hesitant to tell the truth, but Drax is distracted by Mantis having eating all the team's Zargnuts. Mantis suggests that they get him a special present, leading Drax to propose they get him Kevin Bacon.
On Earth, Bacon gets out of his car and answers a phone call from his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, excited for her and their children's return from New York City to celebrate Christmas.
Mantis and Drax take the Bowie to Earth, and Drax assures Mantis that the cloaking device is on. They fly over California and see several houses, wondering which belongs to Bacon. People stare at them, prompting Mantis and Drax to realize that Drax forgot to turn on the cloaking device. Drax turns it on and lies about having remembered to do it. They land behind the Hollywood Sign and speculate that Bacon is the leader of the world.
Mantis and Drax go to the TCL Chinese Theatre, where they see several cosplayers. Mantis sees a man cosplaying as Steve Rogers and rushes to hug him, believing him to be Rogers. The cosplayer runs away as Drax sees a man cosplaying as Cy-Kill. Mantis stops Drax from attacking Cy-Kill, explaining that his anger was because his cousin was killed by a group of GoBots. A family confuses Drax for Kratos and gets a picture with the pair, paying them.
Mantis and Drax take pictures with several more groups of people and cosplayers as Mantis collects money.

Mantis excitedly takes a group picture while Drax repeatedly punches the Cy-Kill cosplayer.
Drax and Mantis go to Yarvos looking for Bacon and look around. They buy alcohol and ask the bartender where Bacon is, prompting the bartender to ask how he would know. They drink and Mantis exhales steam, asking for more. They laugh as they continue to drink and Mantis goes to dance. A man asks Drax to dance, which Drax says is pathetic. The man buys Drax and drink.[11][12]
Mantis dances while Drax enjoys the company at the bar. They both continue drinking.[11][12]
Drax and Mantis sit on the curb, upset that their new friends do not know where Bacon is. Sara offers them a star map to find Bacon's house, asking for money for it. Mantis realizes that she does not have money, so Sara takes it back. However, Mantis uses her abilities to make Sara give her the map and her money.[11][12]
Mantis and Drax go towards Bacon's house, stopping at many other celebrities' houses. Mantis yells at Drax to move faster.[11][12]
Bacon sits down in his house and watches Santa Claus Conquers the Martians when Mantis and Drax ring the doorbell. He asks if they can help, and they ask to see him. Bacon cuts the line, so Mantis repeatedly presses the button. Bacon ignores the call, and Mantis scolds Drax for acting weird. They look at the gate, and Mantis suggests he toss her over. He does so before she is ready, leading to an argument.[11][12]
Drax jumps over the gate and the two approach the house. Drax sees an elf and takes it, while Mantis takes a candy cane. They knock on the door and ask for Bacon, who goes and sees through a camera that it is them. Bacon asks them to leave and says that he is calling the Beverly Hills Police Department. However, Drax bursts through the window and says that they are taking him as a Christmas present. Bacon runs away and tells 911 that people in costumes are in his house.[11][12]
Bacon runs up the stairs of his house, but is pursued by Mantis leaping. He jumps off the balcony and falls, continuing to run away. He turns and sees Mantis and Drax landing with ease and flees. Drax asks to get his elf, but Mantis scolds him for prioritizing it over getting a gift for Quill. They resume their chase.[11][12]
Bacon runs down the street and sees Drax and Mantis leaping over fences behind them. He is met by the police and asks them to stop Drax and Mantis. Bacon hides as Officer Fitzgibbon orders Drax and Mantis to stop. She and the other officers shoot multiple times, tickling Drax. Mantis attacks and puts the police officers to sleep. She approaches Bacon, but gets distracted by Drax flipping an approaching police car, allowing Bacon to run away.[11][12]
Mantis tells Drax that he cannot kill people and approaches the car, finding the officers alive. Mantis tries to explain that they are not doing anything wrong, which a terrified R. Bobbit agrees to. She gives them her candy cane as an apology and walks away.
Mantis enthralls Bacon
Drax and Mantis catch up to Bacon, and Mantis uses her powers to make Bacon want to go with them. The three go to hristmas Castle and get decorations, loading them into the Bowie and leaving for Knowhere.
On the Bowie, Mantis and Drax ask Bacon if he has teamed up with The Fonz, so Bacon says that they ate together once. Drax and Mantis ask Bacon about his heroics, which Bacon explains that those were characters he played, leading them to realize he is an actor. Mantis tries to brainwash Bacon into pretending to be a hero, leading Bacon to act as multiple characters, leading Mantis to insist on being himself but better, which Bacon says would normally frustrate him, but that he feels good about it.

Nebula, overwhelmed with Christmas spirit, flies to Earth and tears Bucky Barnes' prosthetic arm off his body as a gift for Rocket Raccoon.
Peter Quill eats on Knowhere, when he sees Groot looking at him and running away. Quill hears music start to play and goes out to investigate. Mantis watches Quill look around and cues the Guardians of the Galaxy to turn on sets of Christmas decorations, amazing Quill. People surround Quill and wish him a Merry Christmas, making Quill happy.
Groot wheels out Quill's present, which Quill approaches. The box shakes, however, concerning Quill as the person inside says that there is not air in the box. Quill rushes to open the box, and Kevin Bacon jumps out, wishing him a Merry Christmas. Quill scolds the Guardians fo the Galaxy for kidnapping Bacon, who claims to be excited about it. Quill demands that Mantis release him from his trance, causing Bacon to panic.
Rocket Raccoon tells Bacon to relax, but attacks him when Bacon calls him a raccoon. Quill tries to calm Bacon and tells Kraglin Obfonteri to prepare to bring him home. Groot tries to claim he thought it was a bad idea, which Quill refuses. Quill asks Bacon not to run, but he does so anyway. Nebula, Mantis, and Drax the Destroyer go after him, and Quill tells them not to kill him.
Obfonteri brings Bacon onto the Bowie and tells Bacon about his Yaka Arrow Controller. Obfonteri explains that Quill loved telling them stories about Bacon, explaining that Bacon taught him how to be a hero. Obfonteri tells Bacon that the Guardians were hoping Bacon would bring the joy of Christmas back to Quill. Kyra Sedgwick calls Bacon, asking where he is. Bacon says that he is with friends and asks if it is alright if he returns late to teach them about Christmas.
Kevin Bacon sings about Christmas with Bzermikitokolok and the Knowheremen. Peter and Mantis hug while they listen. The other Guardians dance along. As the song ends, the crowd applauds.
Quill gives Groot a Game Boy as a gift, making Groot happy.
Nebula gives Rocket Raccoon a gift, which he is excited to learn is Bucky Barnes' prosthetic arm. Nebula wishes Rocket a Merry Christmas.
Cosmo presents Obfonteri with a dead Orloni she had put a bow on as a Christmas gift. The people around him are grossed out as Obfonteri hesitantly pets her.
Mantis gives Drax an elf for Christmas, exciting him. Drax hugs Mantis.

Bacon hugs the Guardians of the Galaxy and leaves with Obfonteri, preparing to return home. Bacon comments that he will see them on Easter, and Nebula notes that actors might not all be bad.
Peter asks Mantis why she went through the trouble to kidnap Bacon, so Mantis explains that they wanted to save Christmas after Obfonteri told them about how Yondu ruined it. However, Peter reveals that Udonta ultimately accepted the holiday that night and exchanged gifts with Quill. Mantis reveals that she is Quill's sister, and Quill tells him that it is the greatest Christmas gift he could receive. The two hug and wish each other a Merry Christmas.
Rocket and Cosmo put Christmas decorations on Groot as he holds his arms up. Groot gets tired and lowers arms, prompting Rocket to yell at him. Cosmo says that Groot ruined Christmas, and Rocket says they have to have another special.

Everything is set for the perfect family Christmas," implying that Sedgwick is due to return from New York City just in time to celebrate Christmas. He is kidnapped that night, and then when Sedgwick calls him again, it is shown to be "11:00 AM." It can therefore be taken that Sedgwick was due to return on December 24, and that Bacon was kidnapped on December 23. Based on Groot's aging and James Gunn implying that it has been "years" since Avengers: Endgame, which is set in October 2023 (see 2023 references), it can therefore be taken that The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is set on December 23 and 24, 2024. This lines up with Kraglin Obfonteri saying on December 23, "Anyways, I just saw on the Multi-Calendar that right now on Earth, it's almost Christmastime."
