Through unknown means Achilles, Isaac Chang, Ka'uri Varinson, and Johnny Elvis acquired future Meta-Knowledge of the future and sought the means to prevent it. Towards that end the four founded Pendragon Industries together and sought the means to Prevent The Snap.

In order to fund their initial Company, Pendragon, Chang, Varinson, and Johnny Elvis chose to attack one of the four Non-Hammerhead Families each. Achilles attacked Fortunato, Elvis Macchio, Varinson Cicero, and Chang Costa. The goal was to leave Hammerhead undamaged to cast suspicion onto him, and nudge the Five Maggia Families into a Gangwar that the four would be able to control and use for their own purposes.
