- "The one who disappeared during Partition, my great-grandmother Aisha?"
- ―Kamala Khan to Sana Ali
Aisha was a Djinn from the Quantum Zone and the Nexus Being of Prime Reality who was exiled into the Earthly Plane along with four others. Forming the Clandestines, they searched for a pair of bangles that could return them home. In 1942, the Clandestines found one of the bangles in a temple in India. However, Aisha was separated from the team after the British Armed Forces attacked the temple. She fled to a village in Bombay where she met Hasan, falling in love with him and bearing a daughter named Sana.
However, in 1947, during the Partition of India, Aisha was threatened by her former teammate Najma, who had managed to locate her. Aisha left the village with her husband and daughter and traveled to the train station, where she was stabbed by Najma. As she was dying, she was found by her great-granddaughter Kamala Khan, who had traveled back in time due to Aisha's subconscious cry for help. Realizing Sana would be safe due to Khan's existence, Aisha shared words with Khan, asking her to ensure Sana boarded the train, before passing away.
Personality[]
Upon being exiled from the Quantum Zone, Aisha became obsessed with finding a way to return to her home dimension. Influenced by her obsession and her own extradimensional nature, Aisha had little regard for human life and had difficulty socializing.
After meeting her husband, Aisha's obsession disappeared and she learned to be considerate of human life and learned to see the beauty of humanity and life on Earthly Plane. She started to have a more gentle, polite, kind and empathetic personality.
The love for her family and empathy for the Earthly Plane and its inhabitants led Aisha to realize the serious damage that would be done when Noor's veil was torn, this led Aisha to betray her former comrades just to ensure her family's safety and from Earthly Plane.
