Ammut, also known as Ammitu or Ammit the Devourer, was an Ennead who was one of the firstborn children of Oshtur. Infamous for judging and punishing people before they commited any evil, Ammut was viewed as a threat by her fellow Ennead, who would have her imprisoned for eternity.
