Angela Golden, codenamed Golddigger, was a criminal who was a former member of the Femizons. She held a deep grudge against Captain America and swore to make him pay for dismantling her old team. When word was reached that Captain America and his Secret Avengers were wanted fugitives of the law, Golden had been working closely with Baron Baron Zemo and had infiltrated the Black Widow Ops Program. Her job was to find the Black Widow and try to make her lure her to Captain America in order to kill him. Her mission to do so failed and was forced to report to Zemo of her failure. In the wake of her failure, Angela refused to give up on her search, but her leader convinced her to delay it for now and to remain in hiding as a member of the Cabal.

Reporting to Baron Zemo[]
Despite her cover almost being blown, Angela was forced to report her failure to Baron Zemo. Upon meeting him in prison, Golden wasn't hesitant or nervous to report her failure, and didn't make excuses, much to her boss' disappointment. She promised Zemo she could try again, but her leader tells her to delay it and be patient, for which together, they will dismantle the Avengers and form a special trained team that would soon reveal itself to the world. Before leaving, she tells Zemo that Damon Dran is alive and was ordered to recruit him into the team.
