During the Inhuman Outbreak, Cassie was exposed to the Terrigen Mist which triggered her Terrigenesis. When he broke out of his husk, she learned that she had the ability to increase her size. Feeling like she was becoming some kind of giant monster, Cassie felt like she was a danger to her friends and family, and sought to disappear. Her father Scott learned of her transformation and was the only one to help her control her abilities.
For last several weeks, Cassie had learned how to control her ability and was given her own exo-suit that would expand while changing her size.

Just as Thanos snapped his fingers, Cassie had managed to finish the rest of the Outriders until she started to witness many of her own allies being turned to ashes. While remaining in her giant form, she had no idea what was happening until her entire body started to turn to ashes as well.
Birth of the Goliath Serum[]
Several months after the Snap, traces of Cassie's Inhuman DNA blood samples had recently been claimed by Doctor Jerold Morgan of the Corporation and Edward Cobert of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s third incarnation. Both these scientists were involved in the creation of the Goliath Serum for the Corporation's Project Lazarus and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s resumed Project G.O.L.I.A.T.H..

- Inhuman Physiology: Cassandra Eleanor Lang was an Inhuman that achieved her genetic potential after undergoing Terrigenesis, granting her incredible superhuman powers.
- Size Increase: Cassandra is able to increase her size to gigantic heights, requiring the rapid acquisition of body mass. This extra mass fortifies all of her cellular tissue, including her bones and muscles, enabling her to support her increased weight and giving her superhuman strength and durability.
- Inhuman Strength: While increasing her size, Cassie is superhumanly strong. Physically superior to the finest human specimen and to some Inhumans, under normal circumstances she's able to lift one ton.
- Inhuman Longevity: Like all Inhumans that have gone through Terrigenesis, Cassie has a natural lifespan that is at least twice the average lifespan of a human being.
