Calisto Puig was a 16th century conquistador who was one of several to have discovered the Fountain of Youth. As a result of bathing in the Fountain's waters, Puig gained immortality & managed to survive to the modern era.
History[]
Personality[]
As a side effect to his immortality, Puig was devoid of emotion & had the ability to be indifferent in all things.
Powers & Abilities[]
Powers[]
The Conquistador was granted eternal youth from bathing in the waters from the Fountain of Eternal Youth, which replaced his blood with its waters. He was immune to the effects of aging & disease (even including the zombie virus), but he could still be killed by injury. The waters have also diminished his ability to feel emotion, & if he did feel emotion despite this dulling, he would lose his immortality. For hundreds of years he was also unable to leave the vicinity of Fountain of Eternal Youth without losing his immortality, but that restriction has recently been lifted.
Abilities[]
Puig was a skilled fighter with centuries of experience.

- In the comics, Conquistador was a member of the Command, the Initiative team of Florida. After being torn apart to death by zombies, Conquistador was replaced on the team by a second Conquistador, who was then secretly captured by the Skrulls, who substituted one of their own in his place.
