Elsie Carson (Reality-199999)

Elsie Carson was a Level 7 agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., a former partner of Lance Halstan, and one of HYDRA's sleepers. Married to Phil Carson, she was the mother of Jenny and James Carson. Despite being loyal to HYDRA that she worked for within the shadows of S.H.I.E.L.D., Elsie deeply cared for her family and kept it secret from her superiors. Before joining HYDRA, she was transferred into the Preparatory Academy, for whom she and her partner Halstan took on a role as a double agent within S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ranks.

After Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff disappeared, Elsie returned to the Triskelion and secretly looked at the list of HYDRA's targets that were part of Project Insight. Among the targets was her husband, kids, and the rest of her entire family. Seeing that Donald Birch never attended for her family to live in HYDRA's new world order, Elsie decided to switch sides and met with Isabelle Hartley to inform her about HYDRA's plan.

Brought to hidden S.H.I.E.L.D. base and seeing that Nick Fury was alive, Elsie revealed to him about her allegiance to HYDRA and wanted to be given a second chance as a way to protect her family.
