Evelyn Necker, also known as Alias Taker, was a United States Armed Forces veteran and amputee, who was consulted by Harmon Taylor to participate in A.I.M.'s Extremis experiments. Soon after assassinating her rival Ellen Brandt, Evelyn assumed her identity and became one of Harmon's agents. As "Ellen Brandt", Evelyn was assigned to cover up a conspiracy connecting Chad Davis' death to an explosion in Rose Hill and the Mandarin terrorist attacks. She worked with Edward Mallen to capture Tony Stark after he survived the destruction of his home, but was defeated by him in the process. Due to the Extremis, Evelyn healed herself and eventually fled, only to be captured and sent to the Raft.

Losing an Arm[]
After graduating from high school, Evelyn Necker earned a medical degree in college, but would go on to join the United States Armed Forces, becoming a medic in treating the injured. Even serving in the military, Evelyn was known to take a lot of alias', in which one she used one from her old rival "Ellen Brandt". During a battle somewhere in the far east, Evelyn became an amputee, who lost her lower left arm while fighting in the military.

Evelyn is recruited by A.I.M.
Before losing her arm, Evelyn had recently learned that her rival Ellen Brandt was working for a known organization called A.I.M. and had been had been working on a secret experimental project that was to help restore amputees under the leadership of Aldrich Killian and Harmon Taylor. Evelyn sought to seek an audience with Harmon and Aldrich in order to learn more about this project.
Several weeks after losing her arm, Evelyn pretended to be "Ellen Brandt" when she met Harmon Taylor, who selected her as one of the test subjects for the experimental Extremis virus. She accepted and joined A.I.M.. On June 25, 2009, Evelyn’s first Extremis infusion took place and she endured the pain long enough for her body to accept the compound, watching it regrow her missing limb. A fellow trial subject was not so lucky and exploded in her vicinity, yet Evelyn was able to recover and subsequently entered into the service of Harmon Taylor.
However, Harmon Taylor wasn't fooled when he knew that Evelyn was pretending to be Ellen Brandt, but when he learned that the real Ellen Brandt had turned against A.I.M. and threatened to expose Killian's secret to the Department of Homeland Security, he decided to send Evelyn to eliminate her. Along with a few Extremis Soldiers that accompanied her on the first mission, Evelyn managed to track Ellen down at Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and assassinated her right near Kamar-Taj before she was about to reach out to one of her contacts that worked for Homeland Security. Evelyn proved her loyalty to Harmon and became one of his agents.
Battle of Rose Hill[]
Evelyn meets Tony Stark in Rose Hill

In 2012, Evelyn was given an assignment of Brandt's assignments was to recover a set of documents from a Rose Hill bar that detailed the death of another Extremis subject, Chad Davis, in that area. On her way to retrieve them from Davis' mother, she encountered Tony Stark, who observed the burns on her face, and her hair concealing them. Evelyn lightheartedly acknowledged Stark's limited edition Dora the Explorer watch he was wearing, before the two parted ways.
Evelyn kills the sheriff and his deputy
Unbeknownst to her, Stark was in Rose Hill to search for the documents himself, and had already collected them from Davis. Evelyn, posing as a Homeland Security agent under the alias "Ellen Brandt", barged inside and handcuffed Stark in front of the town Sheriff, claiming she was making an arrest. When the Sheriff got suspicious, Evelyn resorted to using her Extremis powers to heat up her badge and burn the Sheriff's face, seizing his deputy’s sidearm and using it to kill both of them before pursuing Stark.
Evelyn attempts to kill Tony Stark
When Stark threw himself through the window of a nearby diner to avoid being shot at by Eric Savin, Evelyn seized a shotgun from another bar patron after incapacitating him and opened fire on Stark herself, although missing. Evelyn snuck up on Stark in the diner, and the two fought. Stark used her exothermal powers to his advantage, putting Evelyn in a stranglehold with the handcuffs long enough for them to burn off her neck when her healing abilities took effect.
Evelyn begins recovering from her burns
While Evelyn was stunned, Stark used his ingenuity to create a trap; he started a fire using the heated metal from his broken handcuffs and a jerry can of kerosene. Brandt walked through the fire, incinerating her skin, although her Extremis abilities allowed her to survive. Stark made a quip assuming she wouldn't walk out alive, only to be shocked when Evelyn emerged and began recovering from her sustained injuries, as her skin started to regenerate.
Evelyn is defeated
Evelyn mocked Stark for his cheap attempt to kill her and his one-liner, to which he sarcastically replied that her remark could be the name of his autobiography before running away. Evelyn realized that Stark had engineered a second trap by heating the metal dog tags from Chad's file in a microwave, and rigging it to an exposed gas line. The microwave exploded directly beside her, which sent her flying backwards and landed on nearby power cables.

- Artificially Enhanced Physiology: Thanks to Extremis, Evelyn Necker temporarily displayed various superhuman abilities, such as strength, agility, an enhanced healing factor, and the ability to generate intense heat.
- Superhuman Strength: Extremis enhanced Evelyn's muscles to the point of being able to toss Tony Stark around with ease.
- Superhuman Agility: Extremis enhanced Evelyn's speed and agility to the point where she was able to quickly disarm a man.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Due to the effects of Extremis, Evelyn managed to regrow her missing limb and withstand many other injuries that would have killed an ordinary human being, such as walking directly through a fire.
- Exothermic Manipulation: Hosts of the Extremis virus are able to consciously raise the temperature of their body parts. The effect can be controlled to the extent that it might only scorch skin, or increased to the point where it can cause steel to turn into a molten state. Evelyn used it to super-heat a metal law enforcement badge and burn the face of a sheriff who got in her way of capturing Stark.

- Skilled Combatant: Due to being a former member of the United States Armed Forces, Evelyn Necker is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat, able to pin down and nearly kill a handcuffed Tony Stark.
- Skilled Marksman: As a former soldier, Evelyn was a capable marksman with different types of firearms. She quickly utilized a sheriff's pistol to kill both him and his deputy and nearly took down Stark with a shotgun.

- Kimber Custom: The side-arm used by the Rose Hill Sheriff and his deputies. Evelyn took it from a deputy in Rose Hill and shot both him and the Sheriff.
- Remington 870: Evelyn took this shotgun from one of Rose Hill's citizens before he could attack her with it, and used it to shoot at Tony Stark while he tried to hide inside a diner.

- In the comics, Evelyn Necker s a spy of A.I.M. who infiltrated Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. as the head of robotics.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Evelyn Necker was originally conceived as Harmon Taylor's main henchman and was intended to return at the end of the Battle on the Norco only to be killed by Pepper Potts. However, it was decided to reassign the henchman role to Eric Savin and replace Brandt for Killian at the climax to give the latter a chance to reveal that he was the "Mandarin."
- Tara Macken was a stunt double for Stephanie Szostak in the role of Evelyn Necker.
