Exiles

The Exiles are a team of multiversal variants assembled by the Watcher to prevent Kang the Conqueror, Kamala Kang, and M.O.D.O.K. from conquering the entire multiverse and all of its timelines.

History[]

To help defeat the dangers of the Kang Dynasty of Earth-41018, the Watcher then set out to gather a team of unlikely but powerful heroes to combat this threat. The Watcher began searching for exceptional individuals across the Multiverse and chose Steel Spider, Nova, Magnetron, Ronin, Extremity, Moon Knight, and Wasp, the last of whom's universe was invaded by Kang. Upon meeting in a recreation of the Avengers Tower, the Watcher explained to the group about the coming danger of the Kang Dynasty. He informs them of Kang's origins as Nathaniel Richards and how his variants had a presence in every major point in history from Ancient Egypt to the 31st Century. He then explains the exiled Kang of Earth-41018 used his technology to hijack the Quantum Band of Kamala Khan in the year 1947, pulling her into the Quantum Realm and turning her into his acolyte of destruction alongside a rebuilt Darren Cross/M.O.D.O.K.

Agreeing to help him, the Exiles formulated a plan to separate Kang from the Bangle. Thor volunteered to travel to Cario of Earth-41018, believing that if Kang had a presence in Ancient Egypt perhaps that universe's Ennead would be able to help with that. Peter, Clint, and Pepper would draw Kang's heavy hitters to a deserted timeline to keep his focus split, while Hank, Oliver, and Yon-Rogg would sneak on board the ship and retrieve the Bangle.

As the team went to enact their plan, they traveled to a desolate universe without any intelligent life as a staging ground before their fight. The team got to know more information about each other as they made a toast to the battle to come. After readying themselves, The Watcher uses his power to send Thor to Egypt of Earth-41018, while opening another for Hank, Ollie, and Yon-Rogg to sneak aboard the Celestium.
