The beings known as gods are immortal higher entities with supernatural powers and the ability to influence the very existence of the Multiverse. They are divided into several families called "pantheons", and are known to be worshiped across the realities in many mortal peoples' religions.
History[]
After The Fulcrum created the Multiverse, the residual energy of the Big Bang began altering some individuals of the earliest species of the Multiverse, turning them into gods, above the mortal beings, but below the primordial Cosmic Entities. Many of these early gods created their own families - their pantheons -, and later began to be worshiped by mortals all across the Multiverse.
As a rule, each Universe has its own version of each pantheon of gods (examples: Thor/Earth-515 and Thor/Earth-21315); however, there are exceptions in which a pantheon is unique for all of Existence. An example are the Tuatha de Danaan, the Celtic gods, who inhabit the dimension known as the Otherworld, one of the realms that exist in The Outside.
