The Guardians of the Galaxy is a pro-active team that spent years in protecting the universe from various cosmic and intergalactic threats before they get out of hand. Founded by Peter Jason Quill, who formerly served the Ravagers as the legendary "Star-Lord", the Guardians of the Galaxy served as a symbol of hope.

Assembling A New Team[]
A year after the Snap, Rocket Raccoon and Nebula, who had been spending their time in Knowhere for months since Thanos was coming after the Reality Stone, sought to restore the team by recruiting known individuals. Among those that joined this new team were Carol Susan Jane Danvers, Benjamin Jacob Grimm, Kl'rt, Lockjaw, Noh-Varr, Kraglin Obfonteri, Hercules Panhellenios, and Wendell Elvis Vaughn.
