The Heralds of Death, are individuals selected to uphold the cosmic balance between life and death, representing the "death" portion. Multiple Heralds of Death can exist in one given universe, appointed by the abstract entity Death. Their antitheses are known as "Heralds of Life".
They are imbued with a fraction of Death's cosmic power, unlocking new abilities related to death, decay, the dead and the afterlife. They may or may not be assigned to a specific place/dimension, where they have a supernatural connection and draw strength from it, enhancing their power into extraordinary levels and enabling them to perform incredible supernatural feats.
