James "Jimmy" Hudson Jr., born James Howlett Jr., is a mutant and the son of Wolverine. As a baby, he was entrusted to James Hudson by Logan to care for. Jimmy's last name was changed from Howlett to Hudson to make the adoption official. The truth of Jimmy's origin was kept secret so he grew up not knowing that he was a mutant.
