Khanyiswa Nontle "Khany" Rodriguez, nicknamed Firefly in English, is the younger child and daughter of Joseph and T'Challa Rodriguez. She is the younger sister of Nonhle Rodriguez, the younger granddaughter of King T'Chaka and Queen Ramonda, and niece of Shuri Udaku.

Khanyiswa Notle Rodriguez was born to Joseph and T'Challa Rodriguez in the city of Malibu, California. Due to her mother being Wakandan and her father being American, Khany and her sister speak both Xhosa and English.
