Laura Forsythe, sometimes calling herself Alicia as her own alias, is a young Russian woman who moved to live in the United States and became a resident in Harlem. Laura hated crime so much and when one of Cottonmouth's henchmen stoled her earnings, she hired Luke Cage to get them back. After he was successful, Laura wanted to be like Cage and joined the Rivals to help protect people around Harlem and different parts in New York. She was very loyal to Cage and considered him both a heroic outlaw.
