Lauranna "Laura" Brown is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and an honory member of Nick Fury's Howling Commandos. She was also a HYDRA sleeper since she was revealed to be the daughter of Arnold Brown, one of HYDRA's most notable leaders.

"When I realized that Fury was alive, I thought it was my duty for HYDRA to take him out, but something in me awoke. I came to realize that this was wrong. So I didn't inform him. That is why I chose to help him stop HYDRA's plan on killing innocent people."

Lauranna Brown is a warm and friendly woman while at the same time, holds a fierce determination and incredible protectiveness about those she cares about, including those in S.H.I.E.L.D.. She is very good with people, as she won her trust with Nick Fury. While she is exceptionally good at deception, Lauranna doesn't like lying to those close to her, especially when her true allegiance to HYDRA came to light.

As an operative and clever sleeper in HYDRA, Lauranna was revealed to be a ruthless woman in a way and would make sure that no one in S.H.I.E.L.D. would learn that it was hiding in the shadow. However, she had a change of heart in her since she felt unconvinced of her father and Charles Olsen's plan to take over the world and kill innocent people.
