Lilia Calderu is a Sicilian witch specializing in divination. Lilia Calderu was raised as part of a coven of witches in Sicily, where she studied the craft from her Maestra. Calderu correctly foretold that her coven would be wiped out by a fever. But they accepted their fates.
Calderu was banished from wherever she came from for centuries because she predicted tragedies that came true. Calderu later lost her fortune-telling glory and was evicted everywhere.
In 2023, Calderu met Billy Kaplan at his bar mitzvah, she saw his future and put a sigil on him, which was then tied to Billy Maximoff after he transferred his soul to Kaplan's dead body.
In late 2026, Calderu met Agatha Harkness, who sought to recruit her into a Coven of Chaos to walk the Witches' Road. After successfully completing her trial, she gained great power and her glory was restored. She participated in the final battle against Vertigo and Nicholas Scratch. Calderu wanted to get away for a while, so she said goodbye to the coven and decided to move to New Salem, where she became Maestra of Divination Witches.

- Mage Physiology: Calderu is a witch, a race of human-like beings that are born with the ability to harness Magic.
- Witchcraft: As a witch, Calderu have access to a specific kind of magic exclusive to witches known as Witchcraft, the ability to tap into this universe's infinite store of ambient magical energy and manipulate these to a variety of effects. A skill derived from three major sources: personal powers of the mind/soul/body, powers gained by tapping the universe's ambient magical energy and employing it for specific effects and finally, powers gained through the tapping of extra-dimensional energy by invoking entities or objects of power existing in mystical dimensions tangential to her own. The latter means of power is usually gained by the recitation of incantations. Although Witchcraft usually manifests as a luminescent blue mist or vapor, Calderu's magic is yellow due to her being a divination witch.
- Magical Energy Manipulation: Calderu was able to make her fist glow yellow when Agatha Harkness started insulting her and rest of her coven in a attempt to steal their power.
- Energy Projection: Calderu could project powerful bolts and blasts of yellow mystical energy from her hands.
- Spell Casting: Aside from her gifts in divination, Calderu, like every witch, has the ability to cast spells. This is done through certain hand gestures and incantations spoken in Latin. She performed a ritual to create a broomstick, giving it the ability to fly. Calderu is also able to put a powerful protective sigil on people to keep their identity safe from others. She did this to William Kaplan at his Bar Mitzvah after reading his fortune, concealing his identity to witchfolk.
- Longevity: Lilia lived for over 450 years. She explained that during her prime she was constantly chased out of every village she passed through after accurately predicting tragedy.
- Divination: Calderu is a witch who specialized in employing divination, a method of reading the future, the present, and the past to provide help to a problem at hand. Divination relies on a range of occult or ritual means, including tarot cards, crystal balls, and palm reading.
- Precognition: Calderu's magic typically manifests as the ability to predict the future. Divination appears to be triggered involuntarily, and its manifestations can range from visions and flashes that cause her significant pain, which may or may not cause her to perform involuntary gestures and movements, to small insights popping into her mind out of nowhere, such as Calderu looking at a person and mentioning the name of a tarot card.
- Clairvoyance: Calderu's magic allows her acquire information using sight outside the normal range of detection about an object, person, location, or physical event. Calderu was able to see the Salem's Seven entering the Witches' Road in her dream.
- Chronoskimming: Calderu's magic allows her to send her consciousness to past or future versions of herself, she referred to this as "gaps". During her trial, Calderu involuntarily sent her consciousness into the past and future, leading to out-of-context sentences being spoken at different points in time, making her unable to properly communicate her divinations. This ability, however, is extremely rare and exclusive to the direct descendants of the original Divination Witch.
