At some point in the year 2010, Loki used his magic to create a replica of himself on Earth to meet with a man named Henry Jonathan Pym, who had recently lost his daughter Hope during a mission in Ukraine and excused S.H.I.E.L.D. for this. In hopes to eliminate Odin and Thor as a way to earn his position as King of the Nine Realms, Loki became aware of Hank's need for vengeance and hired him to take part in this mission.
