Maurice Canfield (Reality-199999)

Maurice Canfield, codenamed A-27, was the son of the famous Arthur Canfield and his wife Aaliyah. Married to a woman named Sarah Bradley, he was the father of Elijah and Stephanie Canfield. While working for S.H.I.E.L.D., Maurice was aware of how his father chose to fake his death and always promised to keep this secret. Like his father, he too was a Super-Soldier, but never revealed anything to S.H.I.E.L.D.. Before HYDRA was on the verge in revealing itself, he would become a target and then killed by the Winter Soldier while he was one his way back home to see his wife and kids.

The death of Maurice Canfield left his father in a way depressive state while he continued to remain bitter and pessimistic for what had happened to him for three decades. He also harbored a deep hatred towards Bucky Barnes, the one responsible for the death of his son. However, ten years after his death, Arthur decided to abandon his hate over Bucky, for he saw how HYDRA tortured him like they did to him, and chose to forgive him.
