Miklro's World is an upcoming 2025 superhero television series created by Shion Takeuchi, Alex Hirsch, Jeff Rowe, and Mike Rianda for HBO and Disney+.

Based on characters from Marvel and taking place during Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the series is set to premiere on HBO on May 12 2025 and stream next day on Disney+. Ahead of its premiere, the show was renewed for a second season, which will take place during Phase Six and be released sometime in Early 2027.

Plot[]

Taking place after the events of Captain America: Brave New World, the Galactic Protection Federation assigns Tommy Winslow, Flynn Morton, Ellen Graham, and Lyle Hanson to find other Miklro variants to prepare for the prophesied Project Doomsday while also protecting Isaiah Bradley, his grandson, and Harley Keener from being found and assassinated by Roland Callins, a rogue Miklro variant who is a key member in Project Doomsday.

  • Timothee Chalamet as Thomas "Tommy" Winslow
    • An alternate playful variant of Miklro, Avenger, and a former member of the Guardians who was separated from Rose’s body via a magic pill by Laurel Callins. He was previously a Nova Corps officer before being consumed by the Miklro Virus. He resides on Earth following the events of Miklro Uprising to help fix the damage caused by Knowhere's destruction, while also joining and doing work for the Avengers in the process.

  • John Lithgow as Dr. Marcus Winslow
    • The head doctor of the Miklro Corps and father of Tommy who survived Knowhere’s destruction (caused by Thanos off screen) after being rescued by the GPF.
  • Charlie Heaton as Flynn Morton
    • An alternate aggressive variant of Miklro and Avenger who formerly worked for the High Evolutionary. He was previously a boxer in San Francisco and was a former boxing champion before being abducted by scientists working for the High Evolutionary. He resides on Earth following the events of Miklro Uprising to help fix the damage caused by Knowhere's destruction, while also joining and doing work for the Avengers in the process.
  • Beanie Feldstein as Ellen Graham
    • An alternate female variant of Miklro and Avenger who formerly worked for the High Evolutionary as one of his creations. She was previously a tech employee in New York obsessed with pop culture before being abducted by scientists working for the High Evolutionary during the Battle Of New York in 2012. She resides on Earth following the events of Miklro Uprising to help fix the damage caused by Knowhere's destruction, while also joining and doing work for the Avengers in the process.
  • Asa Butterfield as Lyle Hanson
    • An alternate variant of Miklro and Avenger who formerly worked for the High Evolutionary as one of his creations. He was previously a theater actor in London before being abducted by scientists working for the High Evolutionary. He resides on Earth following the events of Miklro Uprising to help fix the damage caused by Knowhere's destruction, while also joining and doing work for the Avengers in the process.
  • Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley
    • An African-American Korean War veteran and super soldier who was imprisoned and experimented on for 30 years. He becomes controlled when triggered by certain music, and is one of Roland Callins' targets. After the events of Captain America: Brave New World, he (who was in custody at the time for attacking President Ross before being exonerated at the end of the film) and his grandson are currently under the safety of the GPF after being rescued by them to avoid being found and killed by Roland. He is later revealed to be a Winter Soldier variant of Miklro.
  • Elijah Richardson as Eli Bradley
    • Isaiah’s grandson who is currently under the safety of the GPF after being rescued by them to avoid being found and killed by Roland. He is later revealed to be a variant of Miklro and takes up the mantle Patriot.
  • Ty Simpkins as Harley Keener
    • A young man from Rose Hill Tennessee who assisted Tony Stark in investigating the Extremis Project, and was later awarded with a garage full of modern engineering tools and equipment. He is currently under the custody of the GPF after being rescued by them in 2022 to avoid being found and killed by Roland. He is later revealed to be a variant of Miklro and takes up the mantle Iron Lad.
  • Chris Rock as Dave Archer / Vox
    • A dark wizard galactic crimelord from an alternate universe who works closely with Roland Callins. Following the arrest of Thaddeus Ross, he disguises himself as President Dave Archer on Earth 616 to start the rebellion in secret.
  • Chris Sullivan as Taserface
    • The former leader of a mutinous group of Ravagers who survived Elector’s destruction and now vows revenge on the Guardians.
  • Liza Colon-Zayas as Ardagon
    • A galactic Skrull bounty hunter disguised as US Senator Melina Barton who works closely with Archer.
    • Colon-Zayas also plays the real Melina Barton, who was imprisoned in an underground bunker by Ardagon.
  • Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Miklro 2049
    • A variant of Miklro and Bucky Barnes from an alternate universe who was exposed to the Miklro Virus during World War II before being frozen and abducted by Ravagers working for Dr. Krawle while on a mission with Steve Rogers to capture Arnim Zola. He later thawed himself out thanks to his newfound powers and has since become a vigilante space cowboy with millions of bounties on him across the galaxy. He is now residing at the Miklro Corps to avoid being found and assassinated by Roland.
    • Stan also reprises his role as Bucky Barnes from Earth-616.
  • Letitia Wright as Shuri / Princess Miklro
    • A variant of Miklro and Shuri from an alternate universe who was exposed to the Miklro Virus in the planet of Wakanda, gaining her panther/jaguar-like powers in the process. She is now residing at the Miklro Corps to avoid being found and assassinated by Roland while continuing to protect her planet.
    • Wright also reprises her role as Shuri / Black Panther from Earth-616.
  • Oprah Winfrey as Madame Klaus
    • The president of the Galactic Protection Federation who does what she can to make sure the stability of the universe and multiverse is safe.
  • Meryl Streep as Madame Voyager
    • The founder of the Galactic Protection Federation.
  • Catherine O'Hara as Pamela Hadley
    • A veteran officer of the Washington DC Police Department running for US Senate who oversees the reparation of the damage caused by Knowhere’s destruction on the city.
  • Rebecca Romijn as U.S. Senator Evelyn Cummings / Raven Darkholme / Mystique
    • A US Senator who voices suspicion over the aftermath of Knowhere's destruction and the other Miklro variants out there. In the final episode, she is later revealed to be Raven Darkholme / Mystique, a blue-skinned mutant who possesses the ability to shape-shift to mimic anyone's appearance, in disguise in order to obtain and send information about the variants to Victor Von Doom. Romijn reprises her role from the X-Men film series.
  • Sarah-Nicole Robles as Melina
    • The former personal assistant of Albarn who now works for the GPF, finding and bringing in various Miklro variants to protect them from being found and assassinated by Roland.
  • Nikki Glaser as Henrietta "Henri" Cobwebb
    • A veteran member of the Galactic Protection Federation who makes sure all Miklro variants are safe in her rehabilitation protection facility.
  • Julie Kavner as Esmerelda
    • A fortuneteller variant of Miklro who oversees all Miklros in the multiverse.
  • Will Forte as Thatcher Bardot
    • A superhero / vigilante conspiracy theorist and podcast host who allies with the Miklros.
  • Sterling K. Brown as King N'Jobu / Nick Jawara
    • A galactic bounty hunter and former prince of Wakanda from King T’Challa’s universe who has since taken the role of a rock musician while committing his dirty deeds. Brown reprises his role from Black Panther.
  • Scott "Carrot Top" Thompson as Captain Conker
    • A disgraced Ravager living in Contraxia who allies with Taserface along with several other disgraced Ravagers.
  • Jack Nicholson as Rose Callins / Old Man Miklro
    • An older variant of Miklro based on his appearance in the Old Man Miklro miniseries.
  • Denzel Washington as King T'Challa / Black Panther
    • A variant of Miklro and the king of Wakanda from an alternate universe who helps the Miklros remove Isaiah’s trigger brainwashing.
  • Cameron Diaz as Diana Callins / Agent Miklro
    • A female variant of Miklro working closely for the GPF who brings in various Miklro variants to the Miklro Corps for protection from getting found and killed by Roland. Diaz reprises her role from the mid-credit scene in Captain America: Brave New World.

    • A half-human Ravager, Avenger, and former member of the Guardians capable of flight and electricity who was adopted by the Ravagers after being abandoned by his adoptive parents during a road trip. He resides in Earth following the events of Miklro Uprising to help fix the damage caused by Knowhere's destruction, while also rejoining and doing work for the Avengers in the process.
  • Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America
    • An Avenger and former pararescueman who was trained by the military in aerial combat using a specially designed wing pack.
  • Molly Gordon as Wikkon
    • An expert gunsman / martial artist, Avenger, former member of the Guardians, and wife of Callins who resides on Earth following the events of Miklro Uprising to help fix the damage caused by Knowhere's destruction, while also joining and doing work for the Avengers in the process. She later gives birth to a child named Meredith, named after Peter Quill's mother of the same name.
  • Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns / Leader
    • A cellular biologist who was accidentally cross-contaminated with Banner's blood during the events of The Incredible Hulk, gaining superhuman intelligence. He is being held in the RAFT Prison after the events of Captain America: Brave New World, and warns Callins and Wilson about an incoming attack on Earth-616 from The Others (identified offscreen as Project Doomsday).
  • Lia McHugh as Sandra Sprite / Miklro The Illusionist
    • A child prodigy variant of Miklro who is skilled at magic. McHugh reprises her role from Eternals.
  • Jonathan Bailey as Tobey Friar
    • A model variant of Miklro.
  • Danya Griver as Chloe DuPont / Charade
    • A variant of Miklro who was genetically modified by Hydra, allowing her to transform into any person she chooses.
  • Billy Crystal as Dr. Ian McNee / Miklro X
    • A mad scientist variant of Miklro who is revealed to be involved with Project Doomsday.
  • Seth Green as Howard The Duck
    • An anthropomorphic duck, member of the GPF, and former member of the Guardians who joined Callins after escaping Tivan’s collection.
  • Kari Wahlgren as Beverly Switzler
    • An anthropomorphic duck and Howard’s girlfriend who currently works for the Galactic Protection Federation. She was once mad at Howard for leaving her at the altar on their wedding day (mainly due to Howard being captured by The Collector that day), but later forgives him and rekindles her relationship with him near the end of Miklro: Uprising. Beverly is portrayed as an anthropomorphic duck in the film, while in the comics and previous media she is portrayed as a human.
  • Alia Bhatt as Marion Kakkar
    • A variant of Miklro who is the leader of a witch coven.
  • Abbi Jacobson as Doreen Yaga
    • A variant of Miklro and member of Marion's coven.
  • Kristen Schaal as Macy Salem
    • A variant of Miklro and member of Marion's coven.
  • Charlie Rowe as Ben Reilly
    • A Spider-Man variant of Miklro. Rowe previously was a finalist to play Peter Parker in the MCU before Tom Holland was cast.
  • Ramy Youssef as Dawson Creed
    • A variant of Miklro and space cowboy who works closely with Miklro 2049.
  • Jacob Laval as Gabriel Collins
    • A variant of Miklro with enhanced intelligence. He is a younger incarnation of Mindwipe, a character from Romeo Comics before they were acquired by Marvel.
  • Paul Wight as Tony Muntz
    • A variant of Miklro and bodyguard of McNee who is a blue-colored variant of Hulk due to a Gamma radiation accident.
    • Wight provides motion capture and voice for the character.
  • Drew Barrymore as Alice Gunthrie
    • A wise wizard variant of Miklro who has powers similar to Dr. Stephen Strange.
  • Sean Gunn as Kraglin
    • A member of the Guardians and Yondu Udonta’s former second-in-command in the Ravagers. He currently is a member of the new Guardians team led by Rocket Raccoon following the events of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3.
  • Barbara Dunkelman as Killian Dex
    • A professional boxer from Urkkon, member of the Guardians, and Kraglin's girlfriend. She currently is a member of the new Guardians team led by Rocket Raccoon following the events of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3.
  • Zoe Saldana as Gamora
    • An orphan who seeks redemption for her past crimes, and was adopted and trained by Thanos to be his personal assassin. The original version of Gamora, a member of the Guardians, was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but she returned as a younger version of the character who travels to the present in Avengers Endgame, now serving as the leader of the Ravagers.
  • Marlon Wayans as Lucas Bishop
    • A variant of Miklro who can absorb energy and redirect it in kinetic blasts. An incarnation of the X-Men character of the same name, the character was previously played by Omar Sy in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
  • Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord
    • A high-ranking Ravager who trained Callins in his youth.
  • Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon
    • The new leader of the Guardians and former Avenger who is a genetically modified raccoon bounty hunter and a master of weapons and military tactics. He currently is the leader of the new Guardians team following the events of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3.
