The Multiverse is the collection of all existing Universes in Reality. It was created ages ago by the supreme entity The One Above All, the creator of all that is. The Multiverse had several incarnations over the eons, with its current being the eighth, known as the Eighth Cosmos.
The Universes depicted in Heitorfred1's works exist in separate from the rest of the Multiverse, in sort of a "local Multiverse".
History[]
Early History[]
Over 13,8 billion years ago, the new incarnation of the Multiverse came into existence, and a fraction of it was separated from the rest, existing as sort of a Multiverse of its own. The One Above All manifested himself in this Multiverse as the being known as The Fulcrum. After creating all there is in the Multiverse from the dimension known as the Forge of Creation, He created a dimension outside of the Multiverse to be His home: The Outside, also known as The Above-Place. The Outside is comprised of several sub-dimensions, among them: the House of Ideas, where The Fulcrum lives; the White Hot Room, the Phoenix Force's dimension; the Silver City, home to the angels; the Beyond, home to the Beyonders; the Utopian Parallel, a realm inhabitated by a race of women known as Fuertonas; the Otherworld, home to the Celtic gods and other creatures from British mythology; and many others.
The Fulcrum then created the Abstract Entities to embody concepts existing in the Multiverse and represent multiversal balance. Just like the Beyonders would keep maintenance of the Multiverse from outside it, the Abstract Entities would do the same from inside it, from their own dimension known as the Overspace.
The first mortal living beings created by The Fulcrum were the Slime-Biots, a sapient genetometaphomorphic species who predate all other DNA based life forms in the Multiverse. The first lifeforms to evolve from the Slime-Biots, in each universe, would be the Celestialsapiens. Every Celestialsapien from every universe would then come to live in the Forge of Creation, now a dimension that exists in every single universe at the same time.
10 billion years ago, the angel Samael attempted to dethrone The Fulcrum as the Supreme God of the Multiverse, but was banished from the Silver City and sent to his own prison dimension outside from both the Multiverse and The Outside, a realm comprised of everything rejected by Creation itself during the beginning of time. Samael, after taking the new name of Lucifer, transformed this dimension into The Below-Place, a realm filled with darkness and demons. At some point, Lucifer was father to the demon Mephisto.

With time, many Universes began converging to the main Universe, Earth-515, especially due to the Council of Cross-Time Kangs' attempts of invading the Multiverse. Many people from alternate Universes would travel to or either start living on Earth-515 due to many reasons, the most usual being the destruction of their native Earths due to Incursion Events - when two realities' Earths collide over an 8-hour period, resulting in the destruction of both Earths and their realities. During the 2010s, this became more and more common, to the point it attracted the Beyonders' attention.
Following the spell cast by Stephen Strange that brought different versions of Spider-Man and people related to them to Earth-515 and the destruction of great part of the Multiverse by Jean Grey - as the Dark Phoenix - in 2024, the Beyonders thought of a plan to destroy Earth-515 even after both situations were corrected. However, they still had hopes this Universe could be fixed, and they allowed the Council of Cross-Time Kangs to try and conquer this Universe's "Sacred Timeline" to see if their control over the timeline could normalize the flaws in the timestream that were causing the convergence.
The Council of Cross-Time Kangs, however, was defeated by the Avengers in 2026. Seeing no other alternative then, the Beyonders put their plan in practice: to force an Incursion Event in large escale in order to destroy the entire Multiverse and rebuild it without flaws.

Alternate universes and branching timelines[]
An alternate universe is a completely different universe that coexists with the other Universes within the Multiverse. A branching timeline is a timeline that deviates from the "main timeline" in a specific universe. A branching timeline, if not purged, can evolve into a whole new universe. To prevent it from happening, there is the Time Variance Authority.
Doppelgängers vs Variants[]
A doppelgänger is the alternate universe counterpart of a person. Almost every living being has a counterpart in another universe, and these doppelgängers can have very similar lives or completely different lives, depending on the universe.
A variant is an alternate version of a person from a branching timeline within the same universe.

Known dimensions[]
A dimension is a self-contained parallel realm that exists within a Universe. Some dimensions exist at the same time in all Universes, while others have several versions throughout the Multiverse. Some of them are:
- Heaven: where the souls of those who were good during their lifetime go after they die. Every Universe has its own version of Heaven, and all of them are linked to The Outside.
- Hell: where the souls of those who were evil during their lifetime go after they die. Every Universe has its own version of Hell, and all of them are linked to The Below-Place.
- Valhalla: where the souls of deceased gods go after they die. Just like Heaven and Hell, every Universe has its own version of Valhalla.
- Microverse: a Microverse is a dimension outside of time and space accessible through shrinking to beyond a sub-atomic size. Every Universe has its own version of the Microverse.
