Petra Jasmine Maria Parker-Stark is a kid genius high school student who gained spider-like abilities, fighting crime across New York City as the alter ego Spider-Woman, hoping someday, she will live up to her heroes in the Avengers. While Parker juggled all her continued superhero duties with the demands of her high-school life, she was approached by Tony Stark who recruited Spider-Woman to join the Avengers Civil War, putting Spider-Woman into the brief conflict with her personal hero, Captain America. Parker then agreed and was given her new suit as well as brand new Stark technology in exchange for all her help, although Stark still did not make her an official member of the Avengers and instead returned Parker back home to continue her own hero work.
Born the only daughter of the late Richard and Lilia Parker, Petra was later adopted and raised by Loki and Anthony Stark, who she viewed as a mother and father-figure.
