Phoenix Force

The Phoenix Force is one of the oldest known cosmic entities, native from the Ninth Dimension, representing life that has not yet been born, as well as the life, order, creation, destruction, chaos and death forces. The Phoenix Force is said to predate darkness and is stated to be the fire from which all things were born. The Phoenix Force is an immortal, indestructible, and mutable manifestation of the prime universal force of life. Born of the void between states of being, it is the nexus of all psionic energy which does, has, and ever will exist in all realities of the Multiverse.

Shortly after the Big Bang, the Phoenix Force appeared along with the other cosmic entities. The Phoenix Force roamed the universe creating planets and seeding life everywhere it went, as well as leaving fragments of it scattered around.

Eons ago, the Phoenix Force manifested on Earth, but specifically in Ancient Greece, where the Eternals were also and the Phoenix Force helped to defeat and exterminate the deviants of the area. Sprite then created the story of the phoenixes, a race of powerful birds that lives for several years, then die and reborn from their own ashes, and thanks to that, phoenixes have become symbols of rebirth and transformation.

Eons later, the Phoenix Force returned to Earth and manifested to Native American tribes, where it came to be worshiped as a deity. The Phoenix Force decided to remain on Earth and materialized in a humanoid form and took the title Thunderbird. At some time, the Phoenix Force blessed a mutant woman with healing powers, this powers would passed on generation to generation, each of them passing a new power to the next, those were the ancestors of Maya Lopez.

Decades later, with the imposition of Christianity in the region, the Phoenix Force was no longer worshiped, along with the other Native American gods. As such, the Phoenix Force left and flew into space with the intention of returning one day.

Alternate Realities[]

Reality 838[]

In Reality 838, the Phoenix Force chosed the mutant and X-Men Jean Grey to be its host.

When Chthon from Prime Reality came after America Chavez, Grey used the Phoenix Force power combined with Captain Marvel's photonic blasts and the Scarlet Witch possessing her alternate self. However, when fighting against Chthon directly, Grey was hurted every time the Phoenix Force interacted with Chthon's Chaos Magic and demonic power, eventually being severally wounded. It's unknown if Grey survived or not.

Personality[]

Being the personification of life, order and creation, the Phoenix Force presents a friendly, fair personality with a lot of consideration for life, and in addition to enjoying creating things. Despite this, the Phoenix Force is very close to order and will not hesitate to put an end to its creations to maintain its balance. So, the Phoenix Force wants the destruction and death of what doesn't work, that is, to destroy the old to make way for the new. In addition to intentionally causing chaotic situations to balance the cosmos.

When the Phoenix Force bonds with an host, it completly merge its consciousness with its host, and when the Phoenix Force leaves the host, it carries a part of the host.

Cosmic Entity Physiology: The Phoenix Force is one of the oldest known cosmic entities, native from the Ninth Dimension, representing life that has not yet been born, as well as the life, order, creation, destruction, chaos and death forces.
- Fusionism: The Phoenix Force can totally merge its essence and consciousness with its host, becoming one with them and no longer existing as a separete entity. This kind of merging can only be reverted either by the host's own will or by the host's death.
- Retroactive Immortality: The Phoenix Force is a retroactive immortal being, which means that it's possible to kill Phoenix Force but it's impossible to keep her dead, the Phoenix Force will always reborn.
- Parallel Existence: The Phoenix Force exist in every parallel universe or parallel timeline while having an absolute existence in every parallel universe.
- Nigh-Omnipotence: The Phoenix Force is one of the most powerful entities in the Multiverse, having a virtually unlimited power.
  - Life & Death Embodiment: The Phoenix Force is the embodiment of all the life and death in the Multiverse, showing unlimited control on the flow of life and death.
    - Life Creation: The Phoenix Force is able of creating living beings of all natures and exerts ultimate authority over them. Some important alien species, such as the Kree, Shi'ar, Skrulls and Xandarians were created due to the Phoenix Force interference.
  - Unborn Life Embodiment: The Phoenix Force is the embodiment of life that has not yet been born in the Multiverse.
  - Creation Embodiment: The Phoenix Force is the embodiment of creation.
  - Destruction Embodiment: The Phoenix Force is the embodiment of destruction.
  - Psionic Nexus: The Phoenix Force is the nexus of all psionic energy which does, has, and ever will exist in all realities of the Multiverse. Due to this, the Phoenix Force is able to access an infinity array of psionic powers.
    - Cosmic Psionics: The Phoenix Force is able to exerce psionic powers on cosmic scale.
      - Fire Manipulation: The Phoenix Force is able to create and manipulate fire on a cosmic scale.
      - Cosmic Awareness: The Phoenix Force is able to be aware of what happens throught the cosmos.
  - Power Bestowal: The Phoenix Force is able to give powers to anyone. When joined with a host, the Phoenix Force bestow its powers to the host.
  - Power Augmentation: When joined with a host, the Phoenix Force enhances pre-existing abilities to a much higher level.
