Battle of New York[]
In 2010, Reed, along with his wife and the rest of his team, was involved in aiding the Avengers in their fight against the Chitauri that were invading Earth and attacking New York first. The battle was long and many lives were lost, but the heroes were able to defeat the enemy. Although, Reed would lose his wife Susan, who was killed by Loki. The death of his wife nearly broke Reed, but was able to get it together while he allowed Thor to take Loki into custody.
Funeral For The Fallen[]
A few days after the battle of New York, Reed arranged a funeral for his wife and the victims who were killed during the Chitauri Invasion. He took his moment to grieve for his wife that he loved so much, but chose to accept who he was and that he would have to move on.
