Sebastian Kline is a human who gained considerable magical abilities and experienced a sort of rebirth following his merge with Nicholas Harkness-Scratch and was taught the finer arts of witchcraft by Nico Minoru.

When Scarlet Witch defeated Agatha Harkness in Westview and wiped her mind, Nicholas Scratch who was turned into a bunny at that time reverted to his previous form and escaped the town. He made his way to New York where he was challenged by Doctor Strange and subsequently defeated. In order to avoid imprisonment once more, Nicholas casted a suicide spell to release him from the shackles of the mortal plane.
However, to avoid his power being lost Nicholas merged the power of his soul and his mystical knowledge into the closest mortal body ie; Sebastian. He initially thought that he was an Inhuman or Mutant until he was offered by the Masters of the Mystic Arts to be trained by Nico Minoru.

He is a physically attractive young male appearing in his late teens or early twenties with a caucasian complexion, dark brown hair, greenish eyes, and a slim body build.

- Dark Magic Manipulation: After merging with the dying soul of Nicholas Scratch, every cell in his body was fundamentally altered and he subsequently became able to access remnants of Scratch's mystical might though not in any significant quantity until levelling up as he achieved exponential power increase by learning more about Magic thanks to Nico Minoru's tutelage as well as gaining access to Nicholas' mind. He is strong enough to earn praise from Nico Minoru, Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension, and contend with Baron Mordo.
- Precognition/Retrocognition: By touching an object, Sebastian could see both blurry images of the past and possible versions of the future. Furthermore, by performing a ritual using sand and burning leaves inside a bowl, Sebastian can see clear images of a possible future which he can share with another person.
- Telekinesis: He has the ability to mentally manipulate and otherwise exert telekinetic force on objects and people which is accompanied by physical gestures. This notably allowed him to: send a telekinetic force at a target, supposedly rip things out of a human body such as a heart (though he has never done so), and also choke individuals by making a strangling gesture. Sebastian was even able to temporarily immobilise a demon in their spiritual form before relenting to fatigue.
- Energy Projection/Control: He is capable of generating and harnessing a unique form of esoteric energy, smoky dark violet in nature, for numerous purposes. When accessing this ability, he typically taps his chest symbolising him touching the merged soul inside of him and this vibrancy is referred to as "pure mana" AKA spiritual life force. Sebastian is able to project waves of intense power in 360° or 180° angles which are so potent they can send anyone in range flying backward usually knocked out while affecting electrical sources. One such shockwave was able to casually knock out eight humans. Sebastian could also project his energy as concentrated beams or projectile blasts and could channel his energy as purple flames hovering above his palms.
- Energy Absorption: While he naturally replenishes his mana, if he is depleted or somewhat fatigued, Sebastian can refuel himself by absorbing small amounts of it from others. In doing so, he "tastes" their souls.
- Spell Casting: Besides from his non-verbal powers, he can furthermore access a variety of effects by chanting in foreign languages. Notable Spells include the following:
- Diagnostic Spell: By casting; "Etearch Rognoscere Chickory a Causas", he can determine the cause of an unnatural illness. When this happens, transparent purple currents of energy are extended from his hands and create a thin layer resembling an aura hovering above the body before dissipating and revealing the nature of the sickness.
- Shield Generation: By casting the Shield of Imhotep through the incantation: “Remete es tuun!”, Sebastian could form a dark orange shield of light that counters any dark magic spell directed toward it and was skilled enough to redirect the energy of the shield in order to strike another with concussive force which is a technique referred to as the "Spear of Imhotep".
- Reflection Spell: Sebastian can communicate with other people even those in a completely different geographical location by projecting his image onto a reflective surface near them. This could also be used to spy on certain individuals. According to himself, this uses Mirror Dimension magic and is hard for him to sustain for long periods of time.
- Teleportation: Sebastian can transport himself from one place to another without occupying the space in-between via "Shadow Walking" which works through stepping into one shade, imagining where he wants to go, and then stepping out of a shadow on the other side. However, Nico Minoru has discouraged him from using such magicks as it is dangerous if he doesn't know what he is doing.
- Astral Projection: Through mental effort alone, usually by meditating, Kline can project his consciousness outside of his physical body thus becoming non-corporal and gaining access to the astral realm.
- Decelerated Ageing: As confirmed by Bella Noris, Sebastian is not actually immortal nor possesses an infinite lifespan but merely ages exceptionally slower than that of mortal humans.
Abilities[]
- Soul Knowledge: The portion of Nicholas' spirit inside of Sebastian is able to behave as an independent extension appearing as Scratch did while alive though intangible and invisible to anyone but Sebastian. Nicholas can also appear in reflections acting as a sort of intuitive radar, warning him of danger in times when needed including from threats Sebastian is not yet aware of. He is also capable of accessing Nicholas' knowledge of spells and assorted occult topics commonly through meditating.
