As the threat loomed ever closer, Jason Wong, Elsie Manning, Wai Chee Yee, Earo, Ian McNee, Kushala, Hiram Shaw, Miles Benchley, Rita Wayword, give an immediate order to suspend training at once and make sure that the Masters of the Mystic Arts fortify all of Kamar-Taj to protect Sofia from the Scarlet Witch. During the fortification, Shang-Chi and Jessa Chen, who had both trained for months with the Masters of the Mystic Arts for months, arrived to provide their support in hopes to defend the Multiverse. Charles Xavier, Raven Darkholme, Erik Lehnsherr, Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Ororo Munroe, Alexander Summers, Wanda Maximoff, Peter Maximoff, and Kurt Wagner of the X-Force provide their assistance to defend Kamar-Taj. The honorable Iron Fist of K'un-Lun known as Daniel Rand, who allied with the Mystic Arts before, was summoned too to provide his help.

Jason Wong had recently made contact with certain known individuals that were allied with the Masters of the Mystic Arts and warned them of the fate of the Multiverse. Nico Minoru, who was a former member of the Runaways, answered the call, but didn't wnat to include the rest of her old teammates since she didn't want to put them in serious danger against the Scarlet Witch. Emil Blonsky had been allowed by his friend Wong to bring in a handful of his fellow friends, such as Wilbur Day, Leila Davis, Donald Gill, Abner Ronald Jenkins, Nathaniel Lemon, John Morley, Frederick Myers, Peter Petruski, Callisto Ryan, Eric Savin,
As the shield proved to be highly resistant, Wanda tried to use her mind-controlling abilities to instill fear into the defenders, but Charles Xavier and Jean Grey knew what she was about to do, and together, they were able to use their powers to shield the minds of every single defender. Furious, Wanda closed her eyes and discovered a secret way to get into Kamar-Taj. Seeing this, she immediately dived down below and managed to get herself inside the fortress. Moving through the corridors of the lower level of Kamar-Taj, she is confronted by a group of defenders, which included Adena, Andvari, Andre Gastrade, and Mt'nox Rell. As Stephen and Wong ordered the rest of the defenders to fall back while rallying the most strongest defenders, Wanda caused chaos in the lower level, killing and wounding multiple defenders in her rampage.
Elias Flynn and the Metahumes tried to stop her, but were easily overpowered by her. Roberta Morse was killed by the Scarlet Witch while her son was badly injured and lost his left arm in the fight against her.
Just as Wanda was getting close towards the room where Sofia was, Doctor Strange managed to use one of his abilities to trap her inside the Mirror Dimension while he, Jason Wong, Emil Blonsky, Nico Minoru, Shang-Chi, Daniel Rand Charles Xavier, Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Alex Summers, Magneto,
Aftermath[]
Over 50 magicians were wounded and standed in the ruins of Kamar-Taj while 34 were killed. Phillip Wong, Ziigwan, Nirambo, Anton Danger, and were among those wounded and were able to recover. Elias Flynn, who allied with the Mystic Arts, had also perished in the siege and the surviving Metahumes would carry a long-hating grudge against the Scarlet Witch for what she did.
