The Slingers, are a group of young Individuals from Midtown School of Science and Technology inspired by the Web-Warriors actions to become heroes of their own right.

The team was a sub-group of the heroes consisting of Spider-Man, Ricochet, Silk, Bluebird, Black Tiger, and Patrioteer. Later Firestar, Hornet, and Dusk joined them, allowing them to be more helpful in the field.
