The Temporal Limbo, also known as the Void is a point located at the End of Time used to send everything pruned by the Time Variance Authority.

War of the Worlds[]
With the Multiversal War over, He Who Remains tasked Alioth to live in the Void, in order to guard him in his residence. The Void became an amalgam of alternate realities that were pruned by the Time Variance Authority sent to the end of time, and all the pruned Variants organizing themselves into different communities with the common goal of surviving Alioth.
Throughout the Multiverse, several universes were discovered by the TVA to be dying, so in response, they sent Minutemen to retrieve select individuals and bring them to their headquarters. However, some of these people wanted to try and save their respective universes and resisted. The TVA was unwilling to tolerate this and pruned them, sending the heroes to the Void.
Hunters and Gatherers[]
A group of former heroes of the various alternate realities who survived their world's destruction came across each other in the Void and decided to work together to survive Alioth, becoming known as the Gatherers. The Gatherers set up their base at the outlands and started working on escaping the Void.
