The Void is a place located within the Eighth Dimension, used to send everything pruned by the Time Variance Authority that was demend to dangerous to walk free in their universes.

With the Multiversal War over, She Who Remains took a region of the Eighth Dimension with her magic and shaped it into a form that three-dimensional beings would be able to exist without problems and called that the Void, and she tasked Alioth to live in the Void, in order to guard her in her residence.

Tired of ruling, Amara guides Sylvie, a female variant of Loki and a variant that emerged during the Avengers' Time Heist, to the Citadel to determine her fate, where they could take her place or they could prune her and allow the Multiverse to return to exist. After a brief duel, Sylvie prunes Amara sending her to the Void at the End of Time for eternity.

After learning that Paradox plotted to annihilate his home timeline, Deadpool was sent to the Void alongside an alternate version of his Wolverine, with whom he formed a very uneasy alliance to escape. The two new friends were able to thwart Paradox's plans and kill Cassandra Nova before she could erase all timelines with the help of the Legacy Heroes and the Coven of Chaos, and thus, Wilson invited Logan into his world and continued working for the TVA.

Characteristics[]

Biomes & Physics[]

As the Void is a universe existing within the Eighth Dimension, it's true form is way beyond compreheension, with only 8-dimensional beings being able to see it in its true form. To 3-dimensional beings, it takes the form of a planet of unknown size and an artificial sun to imitate the day and night cycle of the variants' home universes. The planet has diverse landscapes and biomes, such as forests, deserts and others. There is also a region known as the Borderlands, which are the limits of the Void.

Society, Culture & Law[]

Although it is a desolate, chaotic and lawless environment, the Void has a rudimentary type of civilization and society organized by the various variants exiled to the Void. Where hierarchy, laws, etc. are determined by the strongest individuals, where subordinates would not hesitate to betray their superiors due to the rise of a new, more powerful being or due to their own limits. An individual's level of raw power is what determines their level of influence and their position in the hierarchy.

The Void does not have a formal central authority and ruler, the nextest to a supreme ruler of the Void is the animalistic Alioth and the only one powerful enough to subdue any being in this dimension. Therefore, it is made up of several variant factions, all of which have the common goal of surviving Alioth, but they may also have their own goals, where some seek to rule the Void while others simply wish to resume their previous lives.

The Illuminati is not a central, governing authority, but is an alliance formed by the leaders of each faction where they can come together when their interests are aligned and/or when they are willing to resolve differences diplomatically.

Because the Void is governed by the law of the strongest, only extremely powerful individuals with divine or cosmic levels can be candidates for the position of supreme ruler of the Void.
