William "Billy" Maximoff was the son of Wanda Maximoff and Vision, and the twin brother of Tommy Maximoff. Created and raised within the Hex, he, along with his brother, were targeted by SWORD and eventually captured by Agatha Harkness. During the Battle of Westview, the brothers were freed and helped defeat the SWORD agents. Following the battle, Wanda dispelled the Hex, which resulted in Billy and his brother being erased from existence.[1]
However, it turned out that after the dissolution of the Hex, Billy's soul and consciousness survived and existed in the Witches' Road, and then, when a boy called William "Billy" Kaplan died in a car accident, Maximoff's soul and consciousness possessed and took over the corpse, essentialy bringing it back to life and reincarnating, however, in the process, Billy Maximoff's soul and Billy Kaplan's soul merged into one, where Billy Maximoff appeared to be the dominant persona, however, their memories became merged and confused. Maximoff became obsessed with Agatha Harkness and magic, and eventually he managed to recover some memories of his previous incarnation and identity, and he joined Agatha Harkness' coven to enter the Witches' Road and undergo the Trials. Fragments of Billy Kaplan's consciousness began to emerge, leading Billy Maximoff to became confused about who he really is, having shifts between Kaplan and Maximoff's personas.
There, with Agatha's help, Billy was able to recover all of his memories, both as Kaplan and Maximoff, finally integrating this two personas, also, guiding his twin brother to possess and take over a recently deceassed body. After this, Billy set out to find his twin brother and then intended to go in search of his mother. According to Doctor Strange, Billy is the reincarnation of the Elder God Demiurge, a previous Nexus Being like his mother, and despite not being one, he inherited the Omnimancy from his mother. Billy is destined to be the Mage Supreme of the universe and could rewrite the Fundamental Laws of Magic in his final form.

- Hybrid Physiology: Maximoff is a Warlock/Mutant hybrid, having both the warlock and mutant heritage from his mother.
- Mage Physiology: Maximoff is a warlock, a race of human-like beings that are born with the ability to harness Magic.
- Omnimancy: As the son of the Scarlet Witch, a Nexus Being, Maximoff inherited her Omnimancy, allonwing him to use and master all forms of magic extant.
- Witchcraft: As a warlock, Billy have access to a specific kind of magic exclusive to warlocks and warlockes known as Witchcraft, the ability to tap into this universe's infinite store of ambient magical energy and manipulate these to a variety of effects.
- Chaos Magic: Like his mother, Billy Maximoff is a scarlet warlock, with the innate ability to harness Chaos Magic and can potentially master it, becoming as powerful as his mother, possibly even more.
- Psionics: Like his mother, Billy Maximoff has psionic abilities, which manifest as blue, glowing energy currents and mist-like shapes from his hands.
- Psychic Energy Manipulation: Maximoff has the ability to create and manipulate psionic energy.
- Telekinesis: Maximoff was able to stop his brother from super speeding just by sticking his hand out. He also halted Tyler Hayward's bullet with his telekinesis.
- Energy Projection: After saving Agatha Harkness by blasting Lady Death, Wiccan was able to project energy into her, allowing her to absorb the energy and use it to heal.
- Levitation: Wiccan levitated in the air above Agnes' house recreation in the Witches' Road before lowering himself to the ground.
- Elemental Manipulation: Maximoff can create, shape and manipulate elements, such as the classical elements (earth, air, fire, and water) and other elements such as ice, electricity, light and etc.
- Fire Manipulation: Maximoff can create, shape and manipulate fire. Maximoff lit a circle of candles with his mind.
- Mental Manipulation: Maximoff was able to deploy a form of mind manipulation. He was able to mentally paralyzed several SWORD agents during Westview confrontation while Tommy Maximoff ran by them.
- Telepathy: Maximoff was able to telepathically hear and feel Vision in distress while escaping from Westview. He was also able to read the minds of his adoptive parents as well as the minds of Eddie and Ralph Bohner, however, he failed to read Eddie's mind due to his psychic shield. Wiccan also communicated with Agatha Harkness with his thoughts.
- Psychic Energy Manipulation: Maximoff has the ability to create and manipulate psionic energy.
- Precognition: Maximoff was able to see his mother smothering Westview civilians before it happened.
- Age Manipulation: Maximoff and his twin brother Tommy have both been shown to have the ability to change their ages at will, each time aging up around 5 years.
- Reality Warping: Like his mother, Maximoff is a being capable of spontaneous creation. He can warp reality at his will and wield his magic subconsciously without needing constant concentration to sustain the changes he's made. His reality warping abilities began initially on a small scale; however, as time progressed, his powers have grown exponentially.
- Resurrection: Billy is capable of self-resurrection, giving himself a new life by transferring his soul into a recently deceased body. Death, a cosmic entity of nigh-limitless power, couldn't claim his soul as Maximoff would just continue to reincarnate with each death. His first resurrection was done instinctively as Maximoff had no idea how he did it. With Harkness' help, Maximoff was able to resurrect the disembodied Tommy by guiding his soul into a recently deceased body in a similar manner.
- Psionics: Like his mother, Billy Maximoff has psionic abilities, which manifest as blue, glowing energy currents and mist-like shapes from his hands.
- Divine Magic: As the reincarnation of the Elder God Demiurge, Billy Maximoff was born with the innate ability to harness Divine Magic, having acess to the almighty power of the gods. However, he is not able to acess this power by now.
- Omnimancy: As the son of the Scarlet Witch, a Nexus Being, Maximoff inherited her Omnimancy, allonwing him to use and master all forms of magic extant.
- Mutant Physiology: In addition to his warlock genes, Maximoff also possessed mutant genes. However, her mutant genes have been completely suppressed by his warlock genes and will likely never be activated.
